Step 1:

The wooden door that is used here is of the thickness 4.0 cm. 

For a flower box, you will need 3 doors. For the front and back of the planter, cut the 2 wooden cassette doors from the bottom.

Step 2:

The remaining leftover tops are used for other flower boxes.

Step 3:

Cut the lower part of another door for the front side of the box. For this, you need to separate the lower part from the middle.

Step 4:

The broad strips has to be cut from the upper part of the doors and then glued and screwed to the ends.

Step 5:

Next, you need to bolt all the parts to a box. In order to get a better support for the cover, you need to screw around a wooden strip. Here the strip of 3.5 x 2.5 cm is used. Finally, you can paint and customize it according to your choice and taste.
