The cleverly laid out living room space boasts of furnishings & decor that beautifully blend the mid-century modern with the contemporary. The black & white décor and bright lighting bring out the classy essence of the chic room. The grey sofa set gels well with the wooden flooring.
Towards the right, the small dining area looks very stylish. The black window frames and simple arrangement of furniture gives an idea of cozy spaciousness. The book rack gives a homely feel to the space. Clear geometric shapes predominate, though the game theme is sparingly followed barring the monochromatic color scheme. This serves to prevent the offbeat nature of such themes from overwhelming the small space.
The designer light hanging over the eating area ensures warmth for a comfortable dining experience. Timber tones throughout bring in a lot of mellowness.
Thoughtfully remodeled to make the best possible use of the limited space, this narrow apartment has been given an open layout with several small rooms. The generously sized sofa set, wooden coffee table & the adjacent chair look just cut out to fit in this very room. The newly erected sliding black door demarcates the living space from the larger bedroom inside. The all black choice of furnishings rings in a feel of simplicity & cohesiveness. The absence of intricate detailing and preponderance of clear geometric lines of the monochromatic space look elegantly refreshing.
In this photo, we can see the new redesigned kitchen situated within the reconfigured hallway space. Tight and compact, this galley kitchen is perfect for the long & narrow layout.
Looking carefully on the left hand side, the tiled splash back indicates a mosaic format. The image seen is of a space invader, one of the first that we will see throughout this apartment. The mix of black & white with the light timber floorboard adds warmth to the interiors, and also goes well with the wooden floor.
A modern sense of dark & glossy lifts up this space. We can see the hallway ahead as well, leading up towards the rest of the home.
The angular bathroom captures the true essence of the Space Invaders theme in graphic simplicity. The fully tiled bathroom space is rife with playful imagery of errors, alien invaders & little battleships, that contrasts greatly with the all-white space, making for a sparkling addition. The tiny white tiles are of the same size as the black ones making up the imagery, creating a blanket pixelated effect. The modern, sparsely furnished minimalist bathroom features a white marble washbasin, greyish floor, abundant storage space and a generously proportioned mirror. These essentially comprise the space-augmenting features of the windowless compact bathroom.
Heading outside, we come across the gorgeously done well furnished spacious patio. This outdoor patio covers nearly half the total area of the home, and offers ample space for a lavish living area. Such an enormous additional living space in such a small house benefits the residents greatly.
Reflection of light from the black cubic planters and glossy coffee-table top imparts additional illumination to the space. Mingling of the lights and the plants creates a spectacular view with shadows. The outdoor patio also bears discrete imagery from the arcade game, having the word 'ERROR' tiled on the wall. Below that, the barbecue sits ready; the plush sofa makes for an excellent location to entertain guests and enjoy a hearty outdoor meal.
Through the sliding glass doors opening up the interior to the patio, the kitchen splash back is entirely visible. This allows for a respectable view of the Space Invader images in kitchen mosaic.
