It's always nice to have a few gadgets and quirky accessories around the house to play with (and show off to friends… ). There's many practical, novelty and down right fun products in our product listings that we thought we'd do a special feature on a selection of them, enjoy.

Coffee: without the clutter

Doesn't it get on your nerves sometimes when your coffee or espresso machine takes up half of the space on your kitchen work surface? We certainly feel that way sometimes. This innovative cupboard design takes the clutter out of coffee; the door panel is attached to a sliding mechanism that protrudes out each time you open it up. Why stop at a coffee machine though? This design provides endless possibilities. Design by Leicht

Subtle tap hose

Sometimes kitchen hoses can be a little cumbersome to say the least. Not with this subtle hose though, which substitutes a small amount of pressure for  pure style and practicality; slotting neatly home and taking up hardly any extra space at all on this counter top. Design by Leicht

FëlFël, Salt & Pepper Shaker

Aren't these salt and pepper shakers fun? Like adult baby rattles. They're also quite practical too, as the design allows them to be hung up around hooks, out of the way, or even as napkin rings! Design by Mehdi Pour

Pientka - Faszination Naturstein

This Mediterranean style counter top is as practical as it is awesome; what a great way in which to store and display your knives. The knife holder would surely be a talking point for friends who come to visit- 'I want one too!'. Design by Adrian Pientka

Hidden hi-fi

This smart phone dock takes up practically no space at all. You can charge your phone from it (of course) and connect it to your audio system around your kitchen/living room or wherever. It takes up very little space, as you can see, and would make a lovely addition for any home. Design by Leicht

Pardis, modular hanging wall vases

Mehdi Pour design studio

These hanging vase modules would add a quirky touch to any home. Who said flowers have to stay on the table? And why stop at flowers; keys, letters or even herbs for the kitchen would be a practical, stylish and spatially aware application for this product. Design by Mehdi Pour

More than a lamp

Essentially (style aside of course), the space surrounding lamp columns and supports is often wasted. In this lamp design, style and practicality again merge to create a thing of beauty; and neither substituted by the other. A perfect place for candle storage, a hidden mini bar or even a stash of cigars; this useful application of storage space, we think, is enlightening! Design by Chimsee design

Night light with a twist

A light made of plumbing materials- why not? It looks great and has that innovative design charm that makes you want to run out and buy one for your desk at home. The design has a lot of character and even has an inquisitive stance that personifies it a little. Design by Mckorr Lamps
