Whether in books or newspapers, on street signs, billboards, the shopping list or on the phone bill—we are constantly surrounded by letters. Indeed, we don’t pay enough homage to one of humanity's greatest achievements; semiotics. So why not do so in the home? Home accessories take the form of letters today as we explore some additional interior decoration options from our professionals.

V for Vintage

Add a little extra something to a vintage, shabby chic or retro look by such an accessory. This design leaves a lot of room for mixing up positioning, as it can be hung, learnt or stood upright on its own. Remember though, those scratched edges and scuffed corners are essential to the vintage look.

A new stlye of table

Why should our tables always be square or circular? This living room’s use of a letter takes the form of a stylish table. What would your letter be though? Your initial? A loved one? Or maybe you just love ‘T’ -each to their own.

Show your love for your favourite places like with this idea. New york, San Fran or LA but why stop there? Go the whole hog and spell London, Tokyo or Berlin in your own unique way.

Kitchen aid

A couple of eye catching characters from Layla Mehdi here. Pour your oil and vinegar with a dash of something different: liven up a pizza or salad or even try whipping up and emulsion, all with these fun little designs.
