Our bathrooms are often quite small rooms and making space for extra towels, cosmetics, jewellery and other such luxuries can take their toll on our bathroom space; compromising the feeling of relaxation and privacy that we ultimately aim to achieve there.

Never fear! There are a few ways in which we can use the space we have discerningly and creatively -and not make concession on what might be little space. Have a look at how out professionals tackle this problem…

Hidden treasures

A medicine cabinet with style here, from Design Studio iidee. Sleek and stylish are two words that jump to mind; a minimalist design and a new take on a classic unit of storage.

Under sink space

The space underneath sinks goes unused a lot of the time and this is a space that offers a lot of potential for the storage of cosmetics and so on. You can choose from a huge range of custom made storage options; built around your basin/sink. Lots of extra storage space for your towels, flannels, soap, make-ups and perfumes!

Under bath storage

The same applies for your bath too; much space is wasted underneath it. It is the cheaper option to go for regular bath housing, but think of all that space your wasting! Imagine storing your shampoo where you can't see it, or have to keep fishing it out of the bath when you knock it of the lip of the bath.

A project like this for any bath would be relatively inexpensive,  if D.I.Y; just build some doors into the housing and you've got yourself some rudimentary storage. Otherwise muebles flores torreblanca or other bathroom furniture and accessory designers can give you a few pointers.

If you have a wash basin in any of the additional bedrooms in your home, then use that space to your advantage; store additional towels and cosmetics here that aren't in use.

Additional shelving

All that wall space above the bath, sink and that blank area above the commode could be put to much more practical use. A practical and interesting design idea from Enzoferrara architetti that shows a good storage potential.
