The world of tea extends far beyond the coveted British blends. Let's not forget that in Middle Eastern culture, tea is an inherent part of their daily lives, too. Everyone loves an exotic blend once in a while, so why not sip a little of the Orient, and serve up your tea and cakes this afternoon on a stunning Hamam-style tray, like this one from Fate London. For a house that is Mediterranean or modern, this tray is sure to be the object of your desire for many years to come.

Just a spoonful of sugar…

Admittedly, it took us a little bit of time to work out what this quirky little silver piece was. But when you know, you will truly have one of those *face palm* moments. It's a teeny tiny tin tea spoon! We were also soon to learn that tin has bactericidal effects, so it is really great when used to touch a different score of foods. Crafted by a traditional processing technique of Takaoka city in Japan, this gorgeous piece by Rin Crossing is sure to have both your family and friends utterly intrigued.

Two is company

These two magpies look as though they are up to no good, which is why this print from Martha and Hepsie was titled ’Mischievous Magpie’s’. Cheeky in nature, these birds are known for being adventurous and perky, and it is for these reasons that the designers wanted to add a little bit of happiness and joy to our daily hot beverage. The only problem with a mug this sweet is that your co-workers may try to take it home with them, so be wary- ensure your pair of two Mischievous Magpie’s are always by your side.

Born with a silver, or gold spoon?
