Imago Design brings together architecture and design professionals, ranging from industrial to interior designers, and from commercial to graphic designers. They have a multi-disciplinary approach, which means that when all these professions are married together, coupled with highly-skilled staff, the ultimate team is created.
The most fascinating thing about Imago Design is the fact that the synergy between the various professionals delivers a project past the conceptual stage well into its full potential.
Let's take a look at this stunning project…
You can use a entire vocabulary of words to describe a job or project but, at the end of the day, the finished product will deliver the final verdict. The renovation of this house in the Veneto countryside is a culmination of many design disciplines. The outstanding metal work, interior, architectural and landscape design come brilliantly together to create 'The Glass Cube'
The Glass Cube creates a juxtaposition between inside and outside spaces, old and new, and they are indirectly in communication with one another. The veranda, despite being transparent, is attached to a mid-century house and is in striking contrast to its surroundings. The pool subtly reflects the space, creating a mysterious and contemplative aura.
The house displays multiple characters. We can divide it exactly into three parts: on the left of the house we can see in all its splendor, the beautiful modern furnishings, tied together with a classic tiled roof.
In the centre, the space is a little more reserved, French shutters and simple archways make up the existing veranda. Then, sitting proudly on the side, you have the Glass Cube; the jewel of the property. The careful and classic landscape design is necessary for harmony between such striking elements.
The view from the veranda is a spectacle of light, lines and shapes. The rigor and elegance of the glass meets a table with ten seats, the arrangement of which pays tribute to those who planned the kitchen design.
Everything is ready to satisfy your palate.
The placement of the furniture has undergone much consideration. The position and addition of each element has been rigorously thought about and, as a result, delivers this stunning light-filled and open living space.
From the dramatic stage lighting in the ceiling, to the white geometric bookcase and the low-lying cabinetry, which cleverly looks as though it forms the boundary of the room, the craftsmanship and design process is evident.
