Take a tour of this awesome hotel in Austria, by Viennese designer Elke Altenberger. The hotel incorporates a variety of styles and is, as countryside hotels go, seriously charming. Elke was briefed to create a harmonic design and yet have a touch of the modern to connect to the younger generation. Take a look at the work her and her team have done in the Austrian countryside and marvel at a fusion of new and old…
At the hotel bar, the team have gone all out in creating a spacious but welcoming feel to the design and layout. Soft lighting is all that's needed to help the place look as buzzing as it does; picking up off of the already light coloured majority of the interior.
A picturesque lounge scene here; deep and intense colouring in the furniture and décor married with the light projected by the mirrors and by what's emitted by the fire. The perfect place to unwind in the evening, reading a good book and maybe a glass of brandy. The team at Elke Altengurger have really made an exceptional job if this lounge, we think, and it's something of a benchmark for others to aspire to when decorating and furnishing a room of this style.
A Modern, contemporary-classic fusion of furniture and interior design in the café area, of the lower ground floor, of the hotel; the black and white silhouette prints on the chairs and walls and the modern layout fuse to make an interesting mix.
Again, more style fusions in the spa, where we see something of a disco sauna composition. An interesting flavour combination but ultimately an aesthetically pleasing one that looks good and does the job.
Flavour twists in the bathroom met with a retro accent. A running theme in this hotel, that continues to amaze, is the fusion of styles that can be taken in.
