Our top 5 this week was all about dramatic transformations, charming refurbishments and wonderful new builds. We also saw many homes which were a little deceiving; their classic, period exteriors told one story from the street view, and another once inside. These homes are of particular interest both to us and to our audience as it's exciting to see old buildings fused together harmoniously with bold modern extensions or fresh, minimalist interiors. A first floor rear extension was added to accommodate an office and library space, the bedroom was enlarged and reconfigured to give the layout of the upper floor a consistent flow, and exterior work involved the renovation of the façade and landscaping of the front garden.
