There are often times we need to escape from our adult lives and indulge in some old fashioned, wholesome fun. Our childhoods are flooded with good memories, some of which, no doubt, revolved around sweet things.

Designed by Pasquale Gentile Architects, this modern day cake studio called TORTEeDRITTE sells everything you can possibly dream up for cake making or decorating, all in a whimsical and playful backdrop.

It's In The Details

The finer details of this interior design scheme have really been given thorough consideration. The modern, yet classic table legs offset the beautiful pattern on the original tiling. Then, this is taken to yet another level by the bold and striking wall paint. The designers have fused an array of different techniques and styles together to form a room of perfect unison and harmony.

An Adults Playground

What a beautifully presented scene. You can imagine spending hours browsing through the collection of cake decorating tools and delicacies.

The fusion between old and new world is convincing; having retaining the doors, frames and tiles and updating the room with modern shelving and colours, makes for an interesting and exciting room that will always be remembered.

A World Of Possibilites

The furniture chosen for TORTEeDRITTE is truly magical. The giant cart wheels are incredibly fun and inventive. Not only is the furniture practical as it means you can rearrange the shop to suit changing needs, but it also recreates an old world scene when once upon a time, candy vendors would sell their sweets on carts and moving stalls.

The lime green wall paint really compliments the moss green tiles, and is the perfect colour to tie in all the surfaces. As for the slightly off white colour of the furniture, this ensures the overall effect is not too stark, rather, a balanced visual scene.

Up, Up And Away

This beautiful addition to the ceiling really speaks for itself. You can just imagine, if it were real, what would transpire if you opened the cage and set the butterflies free..
