When we discovered this professional at homify, we almost overlooked this project as a simple case of wallpapering. When we looked closer, however, we found something completely original and down-right cool (or hot in some cases)!
Industrial design team Form us with Love, a relatively new company from Stockholm, are the innovators behind this new design product and, I'm sure you'll agree, it comes as no surprise to know that they were named one of the top 50 most influential designers shaping the future, in 2012, as well as winning designer of the year from ELLE Sweden, in 2013. Let's check it out.
So, here's the wallpaper in one setting. Take note of the depth and warmth of the colours of the various shapes within the geometric pattern. Doesn't it give you the feel of a hot place -summer colours and shades.
Here it is again with a more pale and natural colour scheme, a style more fitting of course to a an early spring scene or autuminal scene.
And, lastly, here it is again with a more cold feel to it; the cut crystal glassware, fallen bark and bare branches help us to reach this conclusion. Very pale shades add to give us a feeling of the late and early months of the year.
So, the wallpaper gives one the feeling of being in a different climate. The white shades give you the feel of being in temperatures of up to 15 Celsius, the green for around 17 degrees and the reds for about 28. Of course the wallpaper has no real influence over the temperature in the room, however your surroundings are proven to effect your senses and being in warm coloured surroundings would effect your perception of the temperature slightly.
The most spectacular feature (other that the obvious) is how the wallpaper will effect the mood of any room that it's in and provide a great backdrop for seasonal decorations too, for example, at Christmas, a white wallpaper would do justice to the decorations.
