Wooden furniture—bespoke masterpieces

This week, our theme is wooden furniture. We wanted to concentrate on this topic because, to many of us, wood has a special spot in our hearts; each individual piece with its own unique smell and look. Bespoke wooden pieces are items of furniture that can really transform the look of a room too, like some of the ones we're about to show you; every one being unique!

Bespoke wooden coffee table

This coffee table is crafted from an entire section of hollowed out tree trunk. This is unique, in every sense of the word: still barbering some of that old bark and those rough old knots the tree gained through over the years. A seriously solid piece that would look good at home or in a commercial space, as shown above.

Wooden sink

A section of tree used as a sink -what a great idea. The varnished interior of the basin gives off that kind of pearlescent look which, in combination with the gold finished exterior, emits a quite glamorous and fantastical aura.

Pure class

Handmade furniture like this is always a pleasure to look at. Look how subtlety and beautifully the grains of the wood make themselves apparent. A set like this would look at home in a variety of room styles: rustic, purist even contemporary.

Bespoke kitchen table and chairs

Yet another fabulous example of how one can turn these raw materials into something of absolute beauty. Kept as it was, even with the natural contours and crevices in the wooden surface, the table is magical and would look great inside or out and those chairs, although similar in appearance, all hold design secrets of their own; no one piece being the same.

Wooden wall

Stacked up like a pile of Jenga bricks, this wall really plays with light cast upon it, due to the uneven nature of the design. This is a genuine feature to have in your home and, although it isn't furniture, we thought we'd throw it in here, just at the end, so you could admire it.
