After a temperamental week of weather, the results for homify's Top 5 Posts Of The Week are in. We have had a wide range of interests engaged over the past seven days which is really exciting; we are glad our audience appreciates all facets of the design world.

The round up this week includes practical, functional and whimsical stories. So, without any further delay here are our top 5 as chosen by you.

1. Bespoke Pure Wooden Furniture

The clear winner this week was the portfolio of bespoke and unique wooden furniture from designers Hanssen & Eltermann. Salvaged and one-off pieces caught the eye of both our team and readers. Amazingly, it followed the trend of our Theme Of The Week of ’Wooden Accessories’.

2. A Modern Day Charlie & The Chocolate Factory

This beautiful interior design project in Italy was voted in at number two for the week, and it comes as no surprise. Whimsical and fun, this store which is dedicated to cake making accessories softened our hardened exterior shells, making us like gooey caramel on the inside. This story truly paid homage to some wonderful childhood memories.

3. The Amazing Compact Kitchen

As our kitchens and living spaces are shrinking at what appears to be a rather furious rate, this amazing industrial design invention was born from two interdisciplinary fields; architecture and carpentry. You can see the finesse and craftsmanship involved in this project. Thoughtful design and passion reveals an amazing compact kitchen that would suit any household.
