Today, we take a look inside one of the bespoke interior design projects of Olga Stupenko Design; an international and award winning firm that operates across Europe and specialises in catering exclusively for those with exceptional taste. In the 10 years the business has been in operation, the design philosophy has always been to create unique, stylish and sophisticated homes through the means of interpreting the needs of their clients, and replying to them with exemplary visual displays of their requirements.

This particular project, entitled 'the one', was made for an international businessman that led an active social life. Inside the apartment, we immediately notice the use of open space and its subsequent marriage to a plethora of different textures and surfaces—giving the place a very avant-garde and exceptional setting.

A touch of class in the bathroom

Although each room in this apartment has a very unique feel, there is a great sense of thematic continuity. In this bathroom, the designers have chosen warm tones and low-key lighting, making the space appear sensual and enticing. Opting for a natural stone surface which, of course, screams luxury, it provides its user with a practical and easy to maintain surface. Polished stone is known for its longevity but above all, remains a choice for many as it is timeless and elegant. In addition, the application of soft, plush textiles around the room, combined with the deep red of the screen, aids in giving character and personality to the room.

Film noire office

As we step into the office of this 160 square metre apartment, we can certainly begin to observe the theme of the home taking shape. From this picture, we can see a retro office, brought into the modern day. Again, you can feel the application of different textured surfaces, combined to make a desirable finish.

Style unleashed

Venturing further into the apartment, we can sense an extremely elegant and modern classic style. Fully fabricated wallpaper is bathed in soft, golden lighting and complement further by some very unique and embellished accessories. We particularly like the mirror in the hallway; its appearance really chimes in well with the vibe of this scene.

The kitchen

A black vinyl floor in conjunction with this decorative kitchen bar, oozes character and undeniable style. In addition, the texture combination here is also a thing of beauty. Just like the other areas of the apartment, the smooth floor with the varied touches of wood, fur, fabric and tile, create amenable scene for anyone to enjoy time in.

Bedroom wash basin

It is not very often that we see a wash basin in the same vicinity as a bedroom any more, which is a shame. By incorporating this element, one feels as though we are transported back to the times of old world Hollywood glamour. This space is indisputably luxurious, classic and, above all, is a stellar example of interior design.
