The weekend is here and weather is good—perfect for an outdoor garden party! If you are lucky enough to have a garden, then you do not have to worry about looking for the perfect venue for your summer rendezvous. A garden is the perfect place to meet with friends, hold a refined cocktail party and of course, is a great place to survive sweltering summer night.

Once you have the venue sorted, it is of utmost importance to think about other issues, such as drinks, food, lighting and music. The success of your party depends on this, so, today we have put together a list of party ideas that are super to impress.

We know that the beauty of light at sunset is unbeatable, but when it's dark, our garden can keep that magic alive if we put candles in the garden. Candlelight is not only romantic, it is also mysterious, flirtatious and very warm: perfect for a party. Recommended especially for quiet holidays, because you have a wild garden party, it may end in tragedy. So, if your neighbours, instead of calling the police, to end up calling the fire department, you should use a candle holder. Take this set from Christina Karoulla as an example.

A little originality

Another option for lighting can be these floating illuminated spheres. In the pool or on the lawn, these lamps add an element of playful fun to your party both inside and out. There is a possiblity the battery may run out, so it is important that we remember to recharge before the party begins.

Holding all the fun

If we decide to move on from the dinner party, and then summon all our friends post meal, we know that dancing makes you hungry, so a bowl of chips and other snacks are essential! It is best to find bowls of wood like this, or other materials that are not too fragile; glass and porcelain are always subject to accidents.

If your guests are close to a table during your garden party, it will be easy for them to find a place to put bottles and food. But what happens if they are dispersed throughout the garden? The glasses will end up flat on the floor and of course, can evolve into a dangerous situation. To address these situations, design studio Niruk created this original mini portable bar. It easily attaches to any surface (the width is changable, so it serves as a tree or a lamp post column). On this surface we can place the bowls of potatoes and dishes without fear of ending up in the ground.

A glass of fun

If we fear that all our wine glasses will end up shattered, the use of plastic cups generally comes into play. But not all guests like to be treated like a child when it comes to adult entertainment. This clever little holder can be stuck into any pot and voila, instant glass resting space!

Put the needle on it

No party is complete without music, and if this music is live, what more could you ask for? Whether you have hired a band, your friends in a band have offered to play or if you just want to get out your old guitar and jam the songs from your teens, go ahead! This solid wood construction holds two guitars will be the envy of all musicians.

It may have started as a quiet holiday but as the saying goes, you never know how its going to end up. So if the sun creeps into your party, you should prepare a resting place for your night owl friends. Being rocked to sleep in a hammock is a great end to a night!
