There's something so attractive about a classically themed interior; perhaps it's the feelings it conjures up from deep within, reminding us of moments in our past life. Otherwise, if you're the sort of person who favours longevity in interior decorating rather than adhering to trends, then country or classic style interiors are the perfect style for you to take on board. This beautiful five bedroom detached family home is actually a new build, despite it's pleasant country charm. Located on the river in Wooburn Green, Buckinghamshire, you'll be blown away by the interior work completed by Emma & Eve Interiors. Take a look…

A warm welcome

First impressions count, so when you're inviting guests into your home for the first time, you want to make sure they feel welcomed and relaxed. The same applies to the occupants who can open their door knowing a beautiful setting awaits them inside. This country style entrance is complete with all the necessities—rattan pot plant holders with freshly picked flowers inside, an ornate sideboard, and framed mirror.

Kitchen capers

Following on from the entrance, the pale blue striped sofa fits in wonderfully with the theme. In the background, you can see the kitchen, which too, oozes with the same charming appeal. A muted colour palette ensues, creating an atmosphere that is calming and serene.

Classic & cosy

The living room is classically themed, yet in every way cosy and inviting. You can just imagine on a cold winters night, being curled up on the couch with a hot cup of tea in front of the roaring fire. Tones of grey, white and beige reign supreme, providing an ambience that is perfect to retreat to after a busy day.

Suite dreams

The bedroom too, carries the same theme evidenced in the rooms above. We love how the wallpaper has been fitted into the pitch of the wall, adding a pop of texture and pattern to the space. The roof lights welcome in an abundance of natural light, casting an ethereal glow through the bedroom. When the occupants want some peace and quiet, perhaps away from the other rooms in the house, they can retreat to the bedroom where a sofa and coffee table awaits for them to rest their weary bodies and souls.

Springtime fun

Before we finish our tour through this charming house on the river, we take one last glance at the outdoors. A rattan table and chair set fits in perfectly with its surrounds, given that the texture and tones are earthy and natural. What a beautiful setting for a morning tea or dinner, outside under the sunlight or glow of the starry night sky.
