For those who like to use every inch of space in their bedroom, you can create a cosy study nook like pictured to enjoy the scenery with a good book or cup of tea in hand. Rustic bedroom furniture needn't only relate to beds or armchairs, it can take the form of a myriad of different objects. We absolutely love the small suitcase which is not only an adorable kitschy detail, but the perfect space to store a few loose odds and ends that have been accumulated over time.

You may not have considered this built-in unit for your choice of rustic bedroom furniture, but as you can see, it fits perfectly into the space. Tucked away snugly into the corner and under the bend of the roof line, the raw wooden panels contrast wonderfully against the sleek wall finish. It is, however, complementary to the other decorations, such as the bulls head on the wall and tartan armchair. As you can see from this example, it is possible for rustic bedroom furniture to be practical and functional!
