We absolutely love peeking inside the homes of the other half. Not only does it give us a glimpse of the latest interior design trends, but it also allows us to see what's possible when decorating budgets are nowhere near as restricted as they would be for the average person. Today we are privileged to take a tour through a penthouse on the Dorset coast. The interiors have been completed by WN Interiors of Poole. We have no doubt you'll draw a tonne of inspiration and ideas from this incredible project! Take a look…
The exterior of the penthouse boasts a geometric modern design with an incredible melange of material textures. The highly reflective glass surfaces help to reflect the gorgeous view of the Dorset coast, making this a property that is sure to make neighbours, and family and friends green with envy.
The open plan living and dining room is full of plush and elegant furnishings. The dominance of pastel colours helps to radiate the flow of natural light inside, casting an ethereal glow through the space. The organisation of the furniture helps to create subtle distinctions between the various zones without the need for heavy partitioning.
The kitchen, while compact in nature in comparison to the living and dining room, is light filled and exceptionally well organised. The mirrored splashback helps to reflect the stellar view outside, creating a clever optical illusion to make the space look bigger than it actually is. The same pale timber floorboards are evidenced here also, creating a fluid continuity between the two areas.
This image shows off just one of the phenomenal bedrooms inside this penthouse. You can just imagine waking up and falling asleep to a scenery as blissful as this. Though the context of the room is fairly modern, the furnishings and decorations are delicate and soft, creating a bedroom that is conducive to relaxation and calm.
The ensuite is at the height of modern bathroom design thanks to it's clever layout. The bronze elements in this space are the standout; and we're totally blown away by the bronze tinted glass shower wall. Not a single detail has been spared—from the framed his and hers mirrors to the stunning marble tiles on the wall.
Given that the home hosts such a view, it is only fitting that a stellar outdoor area would feature. Bordered in frameless glass, the scenery remains undisturbed to the occupants, who are able to make the most of the coastline during the warmer months. A table for six awaits, beckoning to be readied for a summer fiesta!
