Today, we are looking at a unique choice of interior design products that are out of the box, both literally and figuratively speaking! If you, like many, are living in an apartment building without an elevator and have to lug kilos of furniture up countless flights of stairs, your ideal choice would be to find something that doesn't weigh much and can easily be dismantled for storage and transportation.

As our apartments get smaller, trends in interior decorating change from year to year and as our budgets get tighter, it seems only natural that a company would eventually spawn from the needs of the people. Meet Stange—the revolutionary cardboard furniture manufacturers, and of course, homify experts!

Cardboard comforts

This is just the first of many great examples of cardboard furniture in this series. You might ask yourself, legitimately, how sturdy is a cardboard bed? Well, this bed can hold hundreds of kilograms and is strong enough to not require the additional support of slats or any of the other odds and ends a regular bed requires. You can rest the mattress straight onto the frame; the material breathes and allows for airflow.

Whether you want to use the Tabula Rasa table as a desk or dining table, it offers everything that constitutes good design: functionality, originality and beauty. The main draw card is that it is super easy to transport, lift and build. There is one word of advice though, to protect against stains, make sure you use a table mat or place mat to ensure any stains will not penetrate the main surface.
