1. Let’s start with the bedroom

Bedroom is the room where the couple spend intimate time together. So the layout and coordination of the bedroom is important since it has direct impact on relationship. Keep the size of the bed medium, not too large and not too small, with a single mattress on it. Clear away the clutter from the bedroom especially the ones connected with ill-health and bitter or unhappy memories. Keep the space under the bed free of any clutter. Choose romantic and soft shades for bedroom. But try to infuse red in any form since it is the colour of romance. Try to avoid pink in bedroom. Ensure soft and romantic lighting for pleasant evenings. However, avoid flowers in the bedroom especially spreading it over the bed.

2. The position of mirror in the bedroom

Mirror is the most common accessory used to accessorize the bedroom to enhance the beauty and also as the dressing table. However, the mirror facing the bed brings in the energy of third party into your relationship and is believed to bring in marital discord. Avoid placing the mirror in such a way that bed is visible in the mirror. Hide it behind the closet so that when not in use it will be behind the door.

3. Get rid of worktable from the bedroom

Feng Shui strongly recommends removing work-related furniture away from the bedroom. It is also against bringing in any electronic device, TV, laptop, phones, etc, inside the bedroom. The gadgets will create distraction and stress in the bedroom.

4. Bring in green furniture into your home

Choose green sofa to clear the home of negative energy. Green colour sofa brings in calmness and serenity into the space. Green colour sofa absorbs excess moisture and negativity from the space and spread fresh vibrant energy and happiness all over.

5. Displaying vase with flowers in your home

A vase full of beautiful flowers in the living room if placed correctly has the power to attract love or what is called in Feng Shui terminology, ‘peach blossom luck’. If you are single and looking for love do keep the flowers in the vase that will promote love. However, if you are married avoid it since it will invite ‘others’ into your relationship.

6. Door of the bathroom

Ensure that the bathroom door is not opposite to or aligned to the entrance door of the house. It will provoke clash in energy and promote negative energy.

7. Plants to cleanse the home

Too much of moisture in the home nurtures negativity and attracts rotten energy inside the home. So bring home plants and keep them near windows and balcony to absorb moisture and block the negative and rotten energy from settling in the home.

8. Pictures on the wall

Single person should strictly avoid putting on too much of pictures on the wall of their home, especially the one with people’s face on it. Married couple should avoid putting on the pictures of family and friends in the bedroom. This is mainly because it will feel like someone is constantly scrutinizing you and there will be no privacy in your life.
