We've featured some truly tiny houses before, but this one might just take the cake.

Coming in at just under 20 m², this log cabin in miniature has everything a 21st century minimalist needs. The cosy dwelling was designed by master carpenters at Tiny House Concept, who aim to build micro eco homes that respect the planet by using only natural, sustainable materials and renewable energy sources. These wee wonders can be custom ordered according to individual specifications—the only constant is the rich, calming smell of raw timber.

Best of all, this house is on wheels and can be attached to the back of a car and driven away. Imagine the journeys you could take without ever having to leave the comfort of home…

A cool cooking space

We weren't sure how comfortable we'd feel about cooking on an open flame inside a wheely wooden home—that sounds like it has the potential to turn into a terrifying mobile inferno. However, Tiny House Concept make safety a priority when designing these homes—stainless steel backboards and treated wood are employed to make them as fire resistant as possible.

Unbelievably, there is enough space for everything in this one-wall kitchen. A stove, oven, boiler, and even a fridge fit comfortably into the space, while cosy curtains conceal the less attractive appliances underneath the worktop.

The whole space

From this angle, it's easy to see just how small this space really is. One can't help but admire the sheer innovation that went into designing a functional, livable home within such tight spacial constraints.

The kitchen takes up half of one wall, while a small dining area is tucked against the other. A sturdy wooden ladder leads up to the lofty bed, which sits on top of a simple yet stunning living room at the rear. And before you ask, yes, there is a bathroom tucked back there too!

The floor plan

Looking down from the boho bedroom, we can see how space h as been maximised to facilitate the movement of the inhabitants.

Small dining stools can be stowed away underneath the table when they're not in use, leaving more space for two cooks to bustle around when preparing a meal. The entrance was left uncluttered and clear, providing much-needed open space in this diminutive dwelling.

The only way is up…

Nothing is left to chance in this tiny house. There is a place for everything, and everything has to take its place—if it doesn't, chaos ensues.

A nifty shelving unit provides storage space for food, books and games. It also includes a ladder clip on its side, so that the occupants can remove the bulky ladder from their walkway and stow it away during the daytime.

Step outside

Finally, we get a look at the home as a whole. It's ridiculously small! But hey, size isn't everything. What this home lacks in space, it makes up for in portability. Imagine being able to have a new view every day—stunning.

Portable solar panels allow the owners to generate their own electricity wherever they park up, and a set of garden furniture can be whipped out whenever the sun starts to shine. Who needs a porch when the mountains are your back yard?!
