Oscar is the new writing desk designed by Giorgio Bonaguro for Valsecchi 1918.
First
the materials: solid woodand soft leather, at the same time. Then the
inspiration: on one hand the pad that always land on desks' surfaces to
protect them, on the other hand the Architects tables (Oscar N.
, hence
the name of the desk, was one of them!), always cluttered with paper
and pencils.
Here is Oscar desk: the wooden structure
intentionally minimal combines with a brand new sub-floor leather,
divided into three soft curves of different sizes: casual pockets to
store drawings, notes, papers, or, for the less traditionalist, their
tablet.
