Case Study: Surrey, BathroomsByDesign Retail Ltd BathroomsByDesign Retail Ltd Modern bathroom

The client of this stunning home in Surrey required us to design three bathrooms with both traditional and contemporary elements. Completing both the family and en-suite bathrooms in a similar style, we used the same European Tiles Essance for the floor and walls to create a seamless aesthetic. The traditional loft bathroom mixes modern subway style tiles using the European Tiles Bisello Blanco range along with the Apavisa Hydraulic Patchwork floor tiles create a dramatic and quirky statement.

The traditionally designed loft bathroom has multiple points of interest. The charming Burlington Hampton freestanding bathtub takes centre stage, paired with the Crosswater Belgravia 3-way thermostatic shower valve and the Belgravia shower kit for a complete bath and shower combination; their chrome finishes complementing the statement bathtub legs perfectly. The Vogue Arcadia towel rail is placed within reaching distance of both the basin and bathtub and offers plenty of towel hanging space with a classic British feel. A chic wooden unit holds a single basin operated by the Vado Kensington wall-mounted basin mixer with its classic and ornate levers.

Moving into the family bathroom, spacious enough for both a bathtub and walk-in shower, we used the Kaldewei Puro inset bath, which is seamlessly integrated within the tiles. The walk-in shower is enclosed with two panels of glass and the Vado Aquablade shower head was used to offer an invigorating shower experience. The Faeber Silkstone Pearl basin and Faeber Mode basin unit is neatly fitted with the Crosswater Mike Pro wall-mounted basin mixer, offering ample storage and a modern angular look. For extra storage, the Schneider Graceline 2 door illuminated mirrored cabinet is fitted to the wall above, further helping to create the perception of space around the room. Finally, the family bathroom was finished off with the Bisque Lissett radiator in volcanic finish, showing off its unique slim and curved aesthetic.

The final bathroom renovation was the ensuite, which boasts an expansive shower enclosure, big enough for two people. The Faeber Mode basin unit offers vast amounts of storage with four drawers and partnered with the Burgbad Crono 4 door illuminated mirrored cabinet above, there is plenty of room for everyday bathroom essentials and toiletries. The StoneKAST Uni bowl sits elegantly on the unit with modern Eau Oval wall-mointed basin mixers to operate. Finally, the StoneKAST Uni wall hung WC is paired with the Oli Blink chrome flush plate, to complete an extremely functional and contemporary ensuite.
