The main focus of this project was the living space, which is where the client would spend the majority of his time. The layout would need to take advantage of as much legroom as possible, with a contemporary design style. 

We proposed an open-plan living space in glazed boxes constructed from a lightweight steel structure cladded in timber.

Merging the living area with the kitchen, which was modern in appearance, resulted in a slightly eclectic look, which became more apparent with the various materials and textures (such as granite and corrugated sheeting) mixed together.
