The client sought a double carport, contemporary in style that would complement the modern design of their Luxury Coastal Apartment in Kent (UK).

The design focused on the www.modern-carport.co.uk Duo+ model—specifically blending the style of the carport with that of the primary building, a contemporary coastal apartment block with stunning views over the Kent coastline.  

The galvanised steel frame was double powder coated in RAL 7015 (Slate Grey), offering strong protection from the elements. 

An anti-condensation fleece was applied to the underside of the roof in order to absorb moisture, ensuring that vehicles stored within the carport would dry off, even if they were wet on entry. 

The client opted to include wall panels to provide a subtle screening of the unit from the road and neighbouring properties. These panels were created in Wood Polymer Composite (WPC) rather than traditional woods such as Cedar or Larch owing to its durability, which is particularly relevant in a Coastal environment.
