Overview

dwell design was appointed to undertake a major refurbishment of the interior and exterior of this Fareham waterfront property.  On the first floor living area, internal walls have been removed to create an open-plan living space.  On the ground floor, internal walls have been removed to create an enlarged master bedroom and ensuite.  Key features include: the high-level window in the living space, bi-folding doors, frameless glazed balustrade, composite decking on the balcony spaces, updated stairs balustrade and replacement render.  The careful insertion of bi-folding doors and a high-level window have maximised the fantastic views of Fareham Creek, and created a dramatic sense of space and strong indoor / outdoor connections.  The frameless glazed balustrade and oak composite decking have completely transformed the first-floor balcony area with picturesque waterfront views.  The internal changes provide much better utilisation of the space for open-plan living. The proposed changes have maximised the potential of the existing house adding light, amenity value and waterfront views.
