The design brief was to create a large restaurant within a vast converted railway arch space, making sure the design stays true to the brand.
Intelligent utilisation of materials and lighting ensures the restaurant is kept informal and intimate within a large and simple archway space. The volume is highlighted by the use of timber shingles throughout and exposed original brick structure. The result is a dramatic and exciting space, revealed passing through a revolving door reclaimed from the Royal College of Surgeons. The yellow bar, green booths and purple snugs are all distinct in the vaulted timber space created by inverting a traditional roofing technique, giving it a modern twist and offering a unique dining experience.
