A remodel and extension project – Queen’s is a very characterful Victorian villa, set in the Waverley Conservation Area.  The property had been previously extended, by earlier owners, but our clients felt that the result didn’t go far enough in terms of space & light.  The extension was demolished, the rear rooms opened up and a new modern space added.

It’s simple in form, contrasting in material and creates a really big core family space, with a wall of glass opening onto the sunny back garden.  The clients like things contemporary; clean lines, pale colours and a sense of calm.  It seems to work and it transforms this into a generous and striking home.
