A beautifully proportioned authentic French Louis Philippe armoire. Made of cherrywood, this dates from the mid to late 1800s and is in lovely overall condition. It is quite petite for this style of armoire making it ideal for alcoves or smaller spaces. Internally it is exceptionally clean and comes with 3 recently made thick cut shelves. Externally it has a lovely honey coloured patina which has been waxed to create a fantastic sheen. It comes with the original fully working key.

This armoire is fully knockdown, dissembling into manageable pieces for ease of transport. It is not difficult to assemble but buyers will receive a step by step guide to help them should they need it.

Condition: Excellent. As with all French furniture of this age there are small signs of wear and a tiny scattering of historical woodworm. It has been fully treated as a precaution and is structurally very sound once assembled.
