A part cantilevered, part free floating, timber staircase reflecting the Victorian heritage of the property, using chunky solid oak treads and handrails hewn from English oak from the perspective of provenance, integrity and figured grain pattern.
Timber was teamed with formed, black waxed and polished uprights, individually hand forged by the Bisca blacksmith with jewel-like highlights providing an intriguing and creative palette of textures
