ISHIGURO Takeshi was born in 1969 in Yamanashi Prefecture and completed the 

Industrial Design course at the Royal College of Art (RCA) in London. He

joined the U.S. firm IDEO in 1996, working at the company's San Francisco

office in a wide variety of product designs and strategies. In 1999 he

transferred to the Tokyo office of IDEO and remained there until 2001. In

2002 he began working on his own, and is currently active in products, art,

stage performance, and other fields. "Rice Salt & Pepper Shaker" and Humidifier "Chimney"

has been on display in a permanent collection at the New York Museum of Modern Art .
