Had front door replaced with new one - fitted it a fortnight later took the old one away, husband of 97 cannot open it and I need two hands and incredible force to get the key round in the lock to open it, now saying it wasn't measured properly in the frame or some other problem- they haven't gone into detail about what has gone wrong - no one rings up telling what is happening waiting on manufacturer to come back with something to rectify it - ongoing since beginning of October. This is not good enough, very quick to take your money but the aftersales service is appalling

Poorly manufactured windows, they havent been in 2 years yet and 3 locking mechanisms have gone leaving my property at risk. Initially 2 went and i had to wait 3 weeks for them to be repaired, whilst waiting i had to tape my windows shut on the outside to stop my cat from pushing it open at her pleasure. Now a 3rd has gone and I have been advised there are No appointments to rectify the issue for 7 weeks! which is a security problem for my property. Which i find absolutely atrocious.

Daniel Goulding and Joel Smith could not be faulted - despite the weather they were polite, helpful, knowledgeable and so hard working. They applied unstoppable dedication to make the amendments to the conservatory installing a new roof. Nothing was too much trouble and they were quick, limited interruptions and were professional showing real expertise. I cannot recommend them highly enough as they were originally recommended by my neighbour after Joel had installed their conservatory/extension. I was not disappointed and such a great team. Dan clearly provided real attention to detail so they are both a credit to SEH but also highly recommend the company if this is the calibre of fitters they send! Dr D KR

We booked 3 companies to give us a quote. The first, we didn’t like and he turned out to be the dearest. Martin came next he was efficient and polite and not at all pushy. The third was a little cheaper but again was trying the hard sell.

An excellent experience. Good products. Very helpful staff. Good brochures. No heavy sell involved. Great showroom, it made all the difference to be able to touch, push and pull stuff.

I chose SEHBAC as I have previously dealt with them, the first being in 2009 for windows and doors. A few years later they replaced my guttering and facias. I have no complaints and work was carried out on time.

I have had SEH/BAC do work for me since I moved in 23 years ago and have always been more than satisfied with their work & professionalism that is why I am having them work for me again this year. Good Luck SEH/BAC you are the best.

Excellent customer care when I called to ask for a technician to visit to deal with faulty door. Appointment easily and quickly made and confirmed. Followed up a few days later by phone to check time and date were still convenient. Even better customer care today, when Daniel arrived and worked his magic. What a top chap he is: polite, friendly and very efficient. When he was finished, for the first time since it was fitted, at the end of 2017, and subsequently "adjusted" on two separate occasions by other technicians, our front door now opens and closes with no effort and without fouling the door frame. We are very happy bunnies. I have to give the SEH BAC Customer Care team good marks and Daniel, especially, 11/10.

Had cladding fitted. Looks great and the fitters were excellent. Time will tell if any issues but for now, it's a big improvement on what I had. Communication with the team in Ipswich was very good. The only issue was being underquoted initially, but was still competitive.

Bizarre experience!! I visited at 4.25pm on Friday 5th after being referred from UP Building products across the road. The showroom was open but completely deserted, just like the Mary Celeste!! I called out, I checked the reception desk for notices, I wandered round looking for a member of staff, I tried ringing the sales line several times and got the stock 'We're busy with other customers' message - not from what I could see lol! I hung around for 10 minutes in case someone appeared but in the end I just gave up and left.....totally weird and a very odd way to run a business, not only from a customer service perspective but what about security?! Completely different experience from UP who couldn't have been more helpful.

We originally engaged with SEH BAC in November 2020, looking for a quality yet not excessively expensive firm to construct an extension for our garden flat in west London. I can’t remember how we came across SEH BAC, however the salesman (Michael Timberlake) seemed professional and also seemed to have a good understanding of our project. Whilst the sales process was a little boring (in a national home improvement firm kind of way) eventually (after they tried to fob us of with a Upvc conservatory at the same price despite being clear from the outset we wanted an orangery or an extension AND that we lived in a conservation area) we agreed on an orangery design that pretty much met our requirements yet was sensitive to the setting (note at this point there was an excessive mark-up on aluminum windows/ doors and almost a refusal to use them altogether). Having seen the finish of SEH BAC projects (at a show site), we proceed with the build- a decision that was aided by the reassurance that SEH BAC only have the best builders (something that was repeated throughout the sales process), and subsequently put a deposit down. From putting down the deposit to obtaining planning permission took over 6 months (despite SEH BAC pitching themselves as planning experts), with similar projects in the local area being approved in around 3 months- the first sign they weren’t quite as capable as they made out! Once this was finally approved, we pushed them for a start date, however after a range of excuses (many Covid based despite the successful vaccine rollout!), they eventually advised that they would be unable to fulfill the build as none of the contractors wanted to take on the job. This was funny as they never specifically mentioned contractors in the sales pitch, and always advised that they had the best ‘team’ of builders’. There were a few reasons given for the lack of interest in our project, however the key reason was that a cement mixer could not get down the road meaning access would be impossible (despite there being evidence of cement mixers on the road previously and the bin lorry having no problem with access on a weekly basis!). As well as being a bemusing excuse, their surveyor (Greg Timbers (nice chap actually)- brother of the Ops Director, Stuart Timbers) had been to the site multiple times yet had NOT mentioned this being a problem. Eventually, they apologised for the inconvenience and gave our deposit back towards the end of October 2021- meaning they had wasted almost a year of our time and caused severe delays to our project. There was however no compensation (or interest/ inflationary adjustment) and they did not seem overly bothered that our experience fell significantly short of the advertised experience. It’s not rocket science, if you don’t want to take on a job, don’t, but don’t take a deposit and waste the best part of a year. Whilst I am sure the quality of our build would have been ok had they proceed, the service we received was unfortunately very poor and suggests that they struggle to operate effectively in London, and perhaps further afield, hence wanted to share the review with any potential customers who may find this helpful. Every cloud does however have a silver lining, and we have since found a great local firm!

THe 5 star is purely for the installer Kirk who did a fantastic job and redeemed the awful conversation I had with the rudest and most arrogant staff. Had one of the managers call me up and insult me over my own phone.

I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. We were taken in by a swish showroom and a smooth salesperson. Once they have your money, the customer care mysteriously vanishes. Remedial work (due to damage and a missing part) was required, but we were left to chase for weeks before anything was done. Tried to escalate the matter to managers, but they were always "unavailable". Don't expect any sympathy or any compensation for the mess and stress they cause. We are currently seeking support from the ombudsman.

The whole experience was very good from start to finish. Because the original doors were not very secure they speeded the process up for me and I am very pleased with them. Gav T who fitted them for me was polite and friendly and worked very efficiently and tidily and everything was left clean with old doors and rubbish taken away. I highly recommend them.

In Jan 2020 I paid £12,500 for a conservatory upgrade. Since then the roof has always leaked, I have had a few visits but the leaks were not fixed. Yesterday they again came out to fix it, they didn't have the correct parts to complete the job, so am now left with a window in the roof stuck back with sticky tape!! When I complained yet again, I was told that I would have to wait yet another 8 to 12 weeks for it to be rectified. Would I recommend this company ABSOLUTELY NOT

The sales experience was very good, no pressure selling, information given was easy to understand. To date the surveyor has been on site, again a useful visit.

Unfortunately the Triple Glazed Sealed units supplied by SEHBAC are very poor quality I have had nothing but problems with the sealed units since my windows were installed in 2013. SEHBAC are aware of the issues with the sealed unit supplier A & B Glass but are unable to do anything or are refusing to do anything due to the warranty. I have had every sealed unit changed in my house since installation and some units have been changed several times due to failing and steaming up or de-laminating. I can't wait for my 10 year warranty to be up so that I can have these windows ripped out and replaced by a company that cares and who take responsibility for their suppliers of the poor quality sealed units. I'm currently waiting for 2 sealed units to be changed due to failing, originally there were 3 but they only turned up with 2 and one of them was not of the standard to be installed and the installer rejected it so 1 out of 2 is not to bad but now I'm going to have to wait another few months to get these changed and between now and then some more units might fail. SEHBAC what happened to you you were at the top of the game and now well I'm very disappointed and let down with the poor quality and service I'm afraid. I would not recommend SEHBAC to anyone based on my personal experience, what a shame as the frames are great but the triple glazed sealed units are useless.

Have received fantastic service from Sehbac - multiple changes to the Conservatory design due to new requirements, but Mike was happy to go back and forth on the designs with no issues (and David the surveyor). Many other companies would have lost interest by that point given size of the job. Great customer care up to this point and bodes very well for the build, I would highly recommend :-)

I called Mike Sullivan at SEH BAC for a quotation to extend my conservatory with a new roof. Mike came and was very professional, knowledgable and made some very good suggestions on how best to proceed. He then suggested to come and see the showroom and further explained the process with drawings in 3d to see a simulated version. We are very impressed with this level of customer service Tony P

Andy and Harry were sent to us to fix our front door under guarantee; they got to us promptly after being pulled off another job. The pair of them were informative and helpful in spite of a series of difficulties beyond their control (the only reason this is not a five star review is because they were given wrong replace!ent materials by their managers!). Thanks to both of them.

I was recently taken for a ride with another glazing company (Hina Glazing) and had to start my research all over again. Long-listed 15, then shortlisted 6 and finally 2. I chose to go with SEHBAC due to their customer service promises, quality of windows, price and finance deal (0%). I have been really impressed with the whole process. We had our windows fitted two days ago and what a difference. We live just off the A3, we needed acoustic protection - we can't hear a thing - I am so impressed with the quality but even more impressed with the two gents that came to fit our windows - Adam and Stewart (could be Stuart). Professional throughout, put down protection throughout the property, cleaned up after them and too real care and attention to the details. To say that I am happy is an understatement. I am one of those customers that will raise an issue if standards do not meet my own - so I write very few reviews.

I needed 2 doors and a window replacing and it was a lot easier than i thought, all done by email, one survey then one day to do all the work. Very happy with the work and process, am now a returning customer for roof line work to be done. Can definitely recommend.

SEHBEC did a great job on changing our windows. From the help of the salesman Dave Eldridge, to the excellent workmanship when the fitters installed the windows, it was first class service at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

As promised I am updating the review. I have heard from SEHBAC I am happy that my installation has been booked for the 3rd of December and possibly earlier. Very helpful and reassuring on the phone .

I strongly recommend this company and the service provided. It was very good value for money. The construction was carried out in a very efficient and friendly way and nothing was too much trouble for the fitters. I would not hesitate to use them again.
