We used SSK for supplying of kitchen. My advice to anyone is don't use them; they are not trustworthy, not sustainable with no customer service.
We had an excellent service from SSK. The initial consultations took place over Zoom due to Covid, and there were occasional hitches around timings and electrics along the way, but overall it was a positive experience. Kirsty's guidance and design was very helpful and she tolerated our numerous changes of mind with great patience. The installation team were great - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
We are extremely pleased with the end result; we love our new kitchen and would happily recommend SSK.
We are so very glad that we chose Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens to design our kitchen for us. The importance to us of high quality sustainable materials and workmanship led us to choose SSK. We were so pleased both with the finished result and with our experience of the whole process that we asked them to design our bathroom for us as soon as our beautiful new kitchen was finished. Both projects involved complete refurbishment, and the way SSK included us at every stage of the design and the careful consideration they made of our particular requirements were of paramount importance to us. We had little idea of what was possible, no experience of room design, yet we feel that our individuality is expressed in the two rooms. It is something we couldn’t have imagined, and we are very grateful to SSK. We recommend them wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

We approached SSK for the renovation of our kitchen after seeing their previous work as well as wanting to work with a local company and local tradespeople. The work took a little longer than expected to finish, however the finished product is beyond amazing. There were a few teething issues with some elements of the kitchen but these were out of the control of SSK and they made sure that any issues were dealt with professionally and promptly. Alex was our fitter and it was a pleasure having him around, his work is excellent and he is a credit to the company. The tradespeople that SSK work with were all also excellent and the work they did in getting our kitchen revamped was fantastic. We couldn't be happier and would gladly recommend SSK to people in the future.
SSK were amazing in helping us pursue a loft extension. They recommended a great architect, acted as an intermediary, kept the ball rolling with regular meetings where they offer great insight on the functionality of different design ideas and made us feel both well advised and in control of the process - we could not have asked for a higher standard of service.
We got through planning permission (with great work from their recommended architect) but due to a change in circumstances we decided to move before seeing this project come to fruition. Had we moved forward with it we felt confident our dream loft conversion would have been achieved with the same level of competence and professionalism we encountered in the design and planning process.

The job was the installation of a new kitchen including a new boiler. The team did an excellent job; well organised throughout. Having a new kitchen put in is inevitably disruptive but they did all they could to minimise the disruption and I was consulted throughout. I would certainly recommend them.
We're getting a house extension, and as part of it, we're moving our kitchen and keeping the old one as a utility room.
Oli from SSK came to visit and created the design, whilst Lyndon and Caroline kept us informed throughout.
We're partly through fitting now (Matt is really good and very friendly) and we couldn't be happier with the look.

Excellent service from SSK and we love our new kitchen, it has vastly improved our home. Along with the new kitchen we had walls moved, all electricity and plumbing moved, and internal wall insulation added. It was well worth having SSK project manage the whole process. It was refreshing to work with a company who understood that we cared about the environmental impact of the materials we were using. They were able to answer all our questions about material provenance and sustainability and provided great advice.

My experience of working with Sheffield Sustainable Kitchens was superb. The design process was first rate. My initial first thoughts were really thoroughly and positively questioned to ensure that everything I needed was included in the final design. Rob really improved significantly on my initial ideas. His support throughout the process was very good indeed. Despite being a really person he always responded to emails and calls for additional information in a very timely fashion. The overall kitchen is now really great and we've had great feedback from friends and family who have visited us since completing the work. I was slightly nervous about placing this project with what looked like a small bespoke company and I am so glad I took that decision. Steve Purcell
