Situated on a prominent corner of Earls Court Road, the existing restaurant was a popular venue. The scheme sought to continue this by improving the appearance and street presence, updating the brand look and improving the number of covers to fully realise the site's potential.
Alterations to the shop front removed inefficient inwards opening sliding doors for large sash windows which improved the flexibility of the layout. New openings created clear customers views into the theatre of the kitchen cook line, while linking a partially concealed part of the restaurant to the main dining space, making the space feel larger. A restrained palette of reclaimed timbers and hexagonal tile pattern walls ground the main features of the restaurant, while antique mirrors, deep blue metro tiles and lighter wallpaper panels with lively coloured leather banquettes and seat pads brighten the space. Together these update and bring the restaurant into alignment with the Client's new branding concept.
