Refurbishment of the downstairs of a Victorian coach house in a Conservation area. Converting the garage and breakfast dining area into two reception rooms and creating a cloakroom/utility room by widening the hall and knocking through the garage wall. To bring in more light we opened up the exterior of the property with French doors to the private courtyard. Décor included painted white and grey walls, distressed white floorboards and mirrored panels. Somewhat Scandinavian in style with rustic/shabby chic furniture and funky wallpaper to the cloakroom.
Previously the garage the wall was removed to create two reception rooms including the dining area, with French doors opening out to the private courtyard. White distressed floorboards and shabby chic furniture with contemporary Perspex chairs, simple lace panels on windows.
Previously the kitchen-breakfast area, now becomes another living area/music room. White distressed floor boards, antiqued mirror panels and new shelving and cabinetry.
Previously part of the garage we added storage to hide washing machines/dryer and new window where garage doors were originally. Décor included funky wallpaper, white brick tiles, grey woodwork and painted black floor boards to contrast with Victorian tiles in the hall, which was widened.
