It defines coach d'interieur, whose translation Italian interior decorator fails to clarify its

activities, rather than reducing it to a mere embellishment intervention.

He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels and graduated from the 'Art Institute of Naples.

Begins to work very young in the field of commercial art and photography

Personality curious and restless, always looking for new ideas, loves to experiment unusual

techniques and formats different expressive.

His professionalism, solid and eclectic, is built in a multifaceted path that goes from graphic design to body painting, from the stage design to photography, to the design and interior decoration.

Changing from each area tools and languages that then elaborates in a personal style.

The acquisition of a formal expression unpublished, original and refined is explicit in the work

of environment made in the last decade.

The Zanotto search and create volumes, as white walls of colors and shapes, lights matt

surface with its stretch of chiaroscuro.

The clever use with which dominates the full shapes and colors, you can investigate the many possibilities inherent in empty space; his vocation, his fate, managing to make obvious sense. Apartments, public spaces, shops, places impersonal and lifeless, the anonymity of non-‐places are transformed into environments whose signification is immediately recognizable.

Emerges in this work the technique scenic experience, thanks to which the Zanotto gives

depth to the plans through the play of light, tonal variations and luministic.

Trials of body painting preserves the softness of the graphic sign, the propensity to the design

of swirls and the elegant arabesques, floral decorations.

The geometric rhythm, the linearity of the stroke, color purity, detect the long research in the field of graphic design that makes the job of Zanotto effective and direct, immediate meaning of the values of the space in which it is implemented.

The overall result is always of great visual impact, engaging but balanced, alluring and

captivating but never excessive; whether it be of floral ornaments both optical and psychedelic forms, whether it reproduces advertising signs and symbols vocatives, yet you relax in chromatic abstractions or that is expressed in geometric monochrome.

The work of Zanotto is distinguished by the elegance of the pairings, for the balance of the

compositions, the apparent harmony between signifier and signified, form and content.

While attentive to the evolution of the trends and changes in taste, << in the choice of formats-‐

says-‐ I am guided mainly by my ability to interpret the needs of the customer, to understand

his need to communicate across space, to live a place that encourage him and welcome him, that makes him really protagonist >>

The success of Dominique Zanotto, complete artist, is its sensitivity, the ability to perceive the vocation of an environment and its inhabitants, and to describe the plot significant mixing experience and creativity, tradition and innovation, now covering the eco fashion now recasting them with his personal taste.

The effort to contain the transgressive impulses stylistic forms in order, the yearning to

revisit the past, highlighting ironically quotes, combines with an eye always to the present and to new market trends.

Overall the work of Zanotto certainly crosses the boundaries of pure highly decorated; the painted surface, painted, shaped by Dominique become an aesthetic manifesto of the state of mind, together with that of the artist, the customer, the context in which they live
